The Soper family built this house in 1911. New owner Karen Pedigo lovingly remodeled it and opened the Corner Bed and Breakfast. The exterior is an unmistakable “Shaker Red” color, and the elegant wrap-around front porch, with its row of rocking chairs, beckons from all 50 states and over 27 countries. Visitors will enjoy the original Victorian details such as the beautiful hardwood floors, stained trim, and ornate fireplace mantles. Choose from three different rooms in the main house or the two-bedroom Cottage. There are nearby townhouse accommodations as well. If you feel like adventuring, Wilmore’s historic downtown is a short walk away, as well as the antique shops. Don’t hesitate to ask Karen about insider tips on the best places to eat and shop, and the nearest attractions like the local wineries, historic homes, and local horse farms. All guests will agree, The Corner House B&B is a delightful place to stay.
