Daddy Joe’s Bar and Grill is located in an old tobacco barn situated on high ground—the highest point in Jessamine County, as a matter of fact—on the grounds of the Thoroughbred Golf Club at Highpoint. That's directly next door to the legendary Taylor Made Horse Farm. You’ll bolt out of the starting gate ready to take on the day, whether you take on a plate of biscuits and gravy, the avocado toast or an omelet with your morning coffee. With a bird’s eye view from the restaurant, you can watch golfers work on their handicaps or watch some of the greatest Thoroughbreds graze in the neighboring fields. Lunch is a breeze with sandwiches like the Arlington Park BLT, the Belmont wings, Daddy Joe’s homemade chili, or the Greek salad. Named after the late Joe Taylor, Daddy Joe’s looks forward to sharing the virtues that he and his wife, Mary Emily, held so dear: hard work, love of people and love of God. You’ll always be treated like family at Daddy Joe’s.
