Jessamine Creek Gorge

Enjoy one of the Bluegrass Region’s best-kept secrets. This 155-acre nature preserve is great for hikers with a 2.5 mile trail.  The trail crosses Jessamine Creek for beautiful views. The experience level varies based on the trail.  Make sure to dress appropriately and bring water and snacks to take along with you.  Just remember to leave no trace.  This peaceful sanctuary is just minutes from Wilmore, Nicholasville, and Lexington. Parking is in the lot directly across from the trail entrance.
