The annual Chili Cook-off of the Jessamine County Historical Society takes place Saturday, October 28th, in the Assembly Hall of the Wilmore Municipal Center. Come out and sample various types of chilies, then vote for your favorite! Local politicians and community members will be preparing their best for you to sample. No fee to enter your version, but cooks should be at the Municipal Center at 11:30 a.m. Doors will open to the public at 12:00 noon. Tickets at the door are $10.00 for adults, all you can eat or until we run out! Children under 12 eat free. Drinks and desserts are also provided. The speaker for the event will be Sarah Stapleton, Camp Nelson Ranger. Come join us for some delicious chili and a very informative speaker presentation.
